The London tabloid, Mail Online published some startling photos of Madonna on July 27, 2009. The photos of the Material Girl show some scary looking arms that are excessively muscled with bulging veins.

But are the images real? According to Madonna’s rep, the latest photos have been altered and are clearly photoshopped.

Beyonce Knowles AKA Sasha Fierce

Beyonce Knowles wants to be called “Sasha Fierce” for her upcoming album…

“I have someone else that takes over when it’s time for me to work and when I’m on stage, this alter ego that I’ve created that kind of protects me and who I really am. Sasha Fierce is the fun, more sensual, more aggressive, more outspoken side and more glamorous side that comes out when I’m working and when I’m on the stage.”

Beyonce will release her third solo album titled I Am… Sasha Fierce on November 18, 2008.

Madonna and Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez are “definitely romantic,” according to sources for Us Magazine:

“Guy is not involved in this equation,” the insider tells Usmagazine.com. “With or without A-Rod, Madonna and Guy haven’t been ‘together’ for over a year – they have been privately separated. Madonna, however, wanted to finish her world tour before divorcing.”

An A-Rod source tells Us, “A-Rod and Madonna are more involved than ever. Alex has really missed spending time with Madonna. However, he understands the position Madonna’s in.”

The Vermont-bred jam band, Phish, which disbanded in 2004, will return to the stage for three concerts at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia on March 6, 7 and 8, 2009.

The band intends to announce additional touring in 2009 early next year…or will they?

A spokesman for the Coliseum, who wouldn’t give his name (I wonder why?), confirmed the booking.

Phish was among the nation’s top touring acts when it called it quits in 2004. The band received a lifetime achievement award at the Jammy Awards last May.
